Our mission and vision
Better dental education. Healthier patients.
Think Dental Institute is a Boston continuing education institute for dentists and dental teams. Everything we teach starts from one idea: patients get better care when the people treating them keep learning.
01
Our vision
Where we're headed
Improving public health through contemporary, innovative education for dental health professionals.
Every dentist who learns to place an implant safely, and every team that learns to support a new procedure, passes that skill on to each patient they treat afterward. That's how education reaches public health.
We focus on current techniques and on better ways to teach them, such as running courses inside working dental practices, with real patients and faculty beside you.
02
Our mission
What we commit to
Excellence, through lifelong educational opportunities that are evidence-based and keep pace with an advancing clinical environment.
Dentistry doesn't stand still. Materials improve, digital planning becomes standard, and surgical protocols change as the research does. Our courses are built on current evidence and kept current with clinical practice.
They're also laid out as a pathway, so you can start with your first implant and come back for grafting, sinus work and advanced surgery as your skills grow.

Our values
How we work
- 01Professional excellence and integrityHeld to the highest ethical and clinical standards, in the classroom and in the clinic.
- 02Better public health through advanced educationTraining that raises the standard of care patients receive.
- 03Kindness and respect for everyone in our communityParticipants, patients, faculty and staff, so we grow stronger together.
The mission, in practice
What our mission looks like in a course.
Three words in our mission statement shape how every Think Dental Institute course is built.
-
Evidence-based
Plans start from the scan and the research.
Treatment planning begins with CBCT and published protocols, and faculty walk you through the reasoning behind each step, so you can apply it to the next case on your own.

Current
Taught by clinicians who still practice.
Our faculty treat patients themselves, so what they teach reflects the clinical environment you'll go back to, including regenerative work like guided bone regeneration and sinus grafting.

Lifelong
A pathway you can come back to.
Level 1 takes you from diagnosis to your first implants on patients. Level 2 courses add grafting, sinus augmentation and complex surgery when you're ready for them.

Values in action
How our values show up in the clinic.
Values only count if you can see them in how a course runs. Here's where ours show up.

01Excellence and integrity
Patient safety comes before the lesson plan.
When participants treat patients, a faculty member is at their side for the whole procedure. Think Dental Institute is an AGD PACE approved provider, and our protocols are drawn from current evidence and taught by faculty who are still in clinical practice.

02Public health
More patients treated by better-trained dentists.
When a general dentist can plan and place implants with confidence, patients can get that care from a dentist they already know and trust, close to home. Our courses are open to dentists from across New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

03Kindness and respect
Small groups where every question gets answered.
We keep cohorts small so faculty know each participant and can teach to where they are. The same respect extends to the patients who trust our participants with their care, and to the staff who make each course run.
